Career in Computer Science Engineering

A career in computer science engineering may seem to be promising now, but there are so many other options too to be explored. We all know very well that it is hard for every one of us to pass through a day without using a mobile. Mobile technology, mobile applications and mobile communication have revolutionised the life of each one on this planet. Huge increase in the use of social media as the platform for communication and dissemination of information, there has been a big data push. All these data goes to the cloud and then it is analysed to offer more products and services. The need for more computer professionals is also increasing. Growth in the development and use of open source applications in all areas has pushed for the increased need of computer engineers. For the next few years, you will also see the rise in the need for security professionals in cyberspace.  After your B.Tech / BE in Computer Science Engineering, you can always grab a good job in the industry. Career in Computer Science Engineering, when compared with other branches is always good, but it also better to explore the other opportunities in engineering career.

Career in Electronics & Communication Engineering

With an increase in the growth of mobile and electronic device manufacturing in India, another best branch in engineering would be the electronics and communication engineering. Quite a good number of multinational companies are looking for investment in India including Apple Inc. This will definitely boost the jobs in the electronics sector for engineers.

Career in Electrical & Electronics Engineering

Following report from IBEF shows the current scenario of power & electricity in the country. With the invention of electric cars, electrical & electronics engineering will see good career opportunities by 2025.

Power generation has grown rapidly

  • With electricity production of 1,107.8 BU in India in FY16, the country witnessed growth of around 5.64 per cent over the previous fiscal year.
  • Over FY10–16, electricity production expanded at a CAGR of 6.21 per cent.
  • During April-September 2016, electricity production in India reached 584.22 BU.
  • The 12th Five Year Plan projects that, by 2016–17, total domestic energy production would reach 669.6 million tonnes of oil equivalent (MTOE) and would further increase to 844 MTOE by 2021–22.

Career in Aerospace Engineering

Here are some of the news headlines that appeared in the Economic Times of India)

  • Airlines including Interglobe Aviation’s IndiGo, SpiceJetBSE 2.44 % and GoAir have 880 aircraft on order as they tap into a market growing 20 percent-plus per annum thanks to rising incomes and low-cost fares.
